Edgar Allen Poe The Chaotic Abyss is my homepage. I have had this page up since 1995 when I taught myself how to code html in a text editor. It is not always up to date that is for sure but it is here as a reminder of the beginning of the internet. I have been on "The Net" since 1986 when I first went to college at the University of Maine in Farmington taking a few higher level classes for high school. We used the BITNET connection to communicate with friends, instructors and find information. WWW was just a bulletin board basically and the "internet" as we know it did not exist. It was a calmer, safer and more fun time of technology. This page will hopefully always be up and around, although not always the greatest and most popular place, it is my place and a place for those that want a glimpse into the past.   Family Works   My family has always tried to be self-sufficient and create a stable venue for us to provide for our entire family without the constant worry about someone else dictating our future income and lifestyle. It is our goal to live a simple and educational lifestyle that not only helps our family but others that want that same kind of life as well.
